I'm announcing the arrival of the baby hairs I get around my hair line everytime I have a baby! They are here and annoying as ever. Last timeI had them they just grew into new bangs. So, you can imagine how awkwrd they look. After Larry was born, a good friend of mine (Kelly HanoHano) came up to me and said, "What's up with your bangs?" Only a good friend can say that. I laughed and told her my misfortune.
Libby has discovered that she can pick Adalyn up and carry her around. Adalyn doesn't seem to mind too much. Libby is earning some money. We are trying to encourage her to save the money, but most of the time she wants to go spend it at Walmart. She only has enough money for tiny things. Most of the time she chooses to get a tiny puppy out of a machine. It is the source of many tears in our house, because they are so easy to loose. She is doing great on her Alphabet. She knows them all and their sounds. She's starting to learn how to write them now. I wish I could take some credit for this, but I owe most of this to a video called Letter Factory made by LeapFrog. (thanks, Angie, for the tip)
Larry is making great progress with the potty. A few days ago I was ready to quit. He just didn't care. He never told me when he needed to go, he would just go in his pullup or underwear. Then, all of a sudden something clicked and now he's telling me! (most if the time) We started giving him chocolate chips for a potty reward. Maybe that was it.
Adalyn is scooting and rolling all over the place. She loves to eat now! She is 6 months and enjoying all the new tastes. Seems like she is always hungry.
Nathan, and all the kids, have been sick. Colds, with a nasty cough. He fights it all week then the weekend hits and he crashes. It has been a tough year so far. It seems like he is always getting sick. He's tired and ready for a break. Thanksgiving will be nice for him. We are staying home to eat and rest and start our christmas decorating.
Happy Thanksgiving, everyone! We are so grateful for you all and the joy you bring into our lives! We love you!

Hey Kristin. I keep meaning to call.. life has been chaotic. I was totally thinking about you last week. We should get together and have a playdate. I would LOVE IT! And I think our girls would have some fun. Call me this week.. or I will call you. Hope your Thanksgiving was AWESOME! And I am so excited you have a blog. Maybe now we can keep in touch. So sad we live so close and haven't done anything. What a loser I am. Talk with you soon!
Okay I have to admit, I've already checked yours out a couple of times too via Ms. Kristen's blog : ) Your description of the Pyrex measuring cup full of gravy had me laughing because that was going to be my next plan if my mother in law couldn't bring hers!
So glad you found my blog, but I have to say that your husband told me at Mutual a couple of weeks ago that he is cursing my name because of this blog thing that his wife is now in to! Love it!
Man Lee, you know everyone don't cha!!!
Kristin and I go back FOREVER. Huh girl. I am just the loser friend who lives close and never gets together. She is one of my favorite friends from home.. back in the day.
Hey girly girl! Thanks for the info about your blog! I think you may have inspired me to put one together too! We'll see! Yours is so cute! Does "They're Back!" mean that you are pregnant again or is this just an after affect of having a baby? Just want to clear that up!
Love you guys, Beth
I am so sad about this ward split thing! I have done it three times already and want it to stop! I have been in 3rd ward, then 6th ward, then 3rd ward....now what? I bet it will be 9th? Tell your husband is next one to be Bishop?? Hope to stay in your ward with you! We will see if we will even be serving in the primary?
I was right! Your husband is the Bishop! I am so thrilled! He is a spiritual giant and humble too! The makings of a great Bishop! Anyway....I was wondering if you could still play the piano in primary for Sunday? I can help with the baby! Your husband wants me to wing Primary until things are finalized! Let me know! I guess I could call you? I am busy this week getting ready to decorate for the ward party! Horray for 9th Ward!!!!
I just can't imagine finding your family! We think about you often with warm thoughts and wonder where in the world you may be! I'm so happy for you and your family! How great to get a glimpse into your life!

You're right, only a good friend could say that! Sorry to hear of your bang woes, but hey, your brother would love to have extra hair growth. Maybe he should have a baby (hee, hee)! Dave got a kick out of Nathan being called as bishop. Not that he thinks it is funny, but that another member of the family will soon lead the busy life in the bishopric. Are you ready to be a bishopric widow? I've had my struggles with it, but I hear there are great added blessings!
We love hearing from your family!
Angie
Kristen I just wanted to say hi and congrats on the baby since I haven't talked to you. Love the name by the way :), at least you spell yours different! :) Good luck with the Bishop thing. That has got to be crazy.
