Adalyn is amazing us with her talents. She has mastered a fish face and can do it on command now. It is so cute! She has started walking, wobbly still, but takes about 5 or 6 good steps before falling. We are waiting patiently for results from the last genetics test they did on her. This test is more accurate than the first one she did. This will tell us exactly what type of Aniridia she has why she has it. We want to know what type she has so we can hopefully rule out other problems that are often associated with Aniridia. Mental retardation and Gillespie syndrome have been ruled out. Which we've known for quite some time. It is obvious. She is so bright, alert, responsive. We are just waiting to rule out the Wilms Tumors (kidney tumors) If she does have the kind associated with that, she will have ultrasounds every three months. So, we are hoping for the kind that is isolated Aniridia. Everyday, I keep hoping they will call. I want to know so bad! But, then I have to remember in my heart I already know. Adalyn has been given two amazing blessings that have calmed all of our fears. She has been blessed that no physical condition she may have will keep her from accomplishing the work God wants her to do. She has been blessed with amazing vision. It won't be perfect, but as far as Aniridia goes, her doctor says she breaks all the rules. We know the Lord is blessing her.

What a precious baby girl you have! My heart goes out to you and I will have Adalyn in my prayers.
I'm sure this has been a trying time for you and your family. I hope you have the news soon and it is good news. It is always best to have all the information. We'll keep you in our prayers
Wow.. I know this has to be a trying time. ((hugs)) You are in my prayers.. I really I keep meaning to call. Life has just been insane. But we have to get together before I move.
Our girls really could be friends! After all we plan on being back in the northwest soon hopefully!
What amazing faith you have! She is so sweet. I can't wait for her and Hannah to play this summer!
