Today I had a conversation with Libby and Larry that was a perfect example of their different personalities. Libby told us about a dream she had last night. She dreamed her Dad was a missionary and people were making fun of him. I asked her what she did about it. She replied, "I prayed." Then I asked Larry what he would do if people were making fun of his Dad. He replied in a loud bullying voice, "I would say, 'Hey!! Stop laugin' at my Dad!!'
This perfectly portrays Libby and Larry's differences. Libby goes about things in a quiet, peaceful way most of the time. Larry is not so quiet and a little forceful. I have a feeling Larry will protect his sisters well in the future.

how fun. I love those things that really show kid's personality.
Love those kids of your's!
I love the different perspectives of the same situation. I just think - "Someday they'll both be helping someone else that needs their exact personality!" Heavenly Father knows what He's doing!
We get that all the time in our hosue, too. I thought it was a boy/girl thing, but Kelsie tends to lean toward the typical boy attitudes so I guess each one is just special in their own way!
Love how unique kids are. And that is so how my kids are.
Oh, my! I loved this story. I thought Jayce was our little quiet, laid back personality... then Hannah came along and I've realized just how emotionally strung she is. I bet Libby's mom's spiritual side makes a great difference in modeling just how a little lady should be.
Larry is too funny! I actually can see Jayce responding just like him!
