What has Ada been up to?

Adalyn has been very busy lately. She has been learning many words like "no, I don't know, yaya (Larry), bibby (libby), veeya (movie), mine, and the family favorite WHY." The "why" word gets different reactions. With Dad it usually leads to a deep doctrinal discussion. Mom changes the subject quickly. Larry gets frustrated and tells her to "stop saying that!" Libby encourages her to say it when Adalyn is in a conversation with someone else, then Libby giggles when Adalyn does say it.

Adalyn's physical abilities our developing well, and her parents are quite amazed at the things she can do. My personal favorite is how she can jump off of our bed and land on two feet. She did this at a park at about the same distance of our bed, but she landed on the cement. It was a perfect landing, she had no care in the world. I was too far away to stop her, so I saw the whole thing. After she jumped I just stared straight ahead, frozen for a second, thinking, "did she seriously just do that?" Then a man at the park came up to me and said, "what a jump! I've never seen anything like that! That was amazing!"

Adalyn keeps her family giggling. She as got a funny little personality. She likes to make us laugh. She makes funny faces and funny noises and dances around just to entertain us. She likes to play dress up. She probably gets it from her brother and sister.
